Dear Stop Kriptovalidáció! Our written question submitted in Parliament was also born in the spirit that we monitor this topic with special attention due to Hungarians' right to self-determination and our 0% corruption principle. Due to the length constraints of our program, it is impossible to provide detailed descriptions on every topic, but the crypto regulation issue remains important to us, as every future technology is also an opportunity for Hungary's economy to be sovereign in a digitalized age. 1. What is Mi Hazánk's official position on the current crypto validation regulation? Do you consider it necessary to amend or repeal the relevant provisions of Act LXVII of 2025? Mi Hazánk consistently stands for Hungarians having unlimited freedom over their own assets, which is why we achieved that the right to use cash was included in the Fundamental Law. Cash and crypto assets are not opposed to each other but are separate instruments of the same financial freedom: this is why we consider it essential that Hungarians may lawfully hold crypto assets if they so choose. The laws of a well-functioning state are transparent, because this is the foundation of legal certainty. Therefore, we demand transparent regulation regarding crypto assets as well: it must not happen that any individual or legal entity enjoys an advantage in such an outstanding area of technology regulation by invoking business secrets. We would also draw attention to the fact that the real question does not even concern crypto: the true depth of the topic lies in the possibilities of the underlying blockchain technology, through which the operation of the state could be made fully transparent — for example, enforcement could become corruption-free on a blockchain basis. It is also of strategic importance that such a technological transition would ensure the transparency of the banking system, which is why we are not surprised if the banking lobby opposes the spread of crypto assets. 2. Are you planning any concrete legislative steps or program points regarding the withdrawal of crypto service providers and the criminal law risks affecting individuals? We consider the regulation of crypto asset trading desirable in itself, as the prevention of abuses can be more effectively achieved through legal and regulatory tools. But in its current form, the law does not serve this purpose, and therefore we cannot support it in its current form. This naturally also means that we do not consider the criminal law instruments affecting individuals acceptable in light of the current law. We kindly ask that our response be published in its entirety if possible. We wish you much success in your work! With respect and gratitude, István Szabadi Party Director Mi Hazánk Movement
