About

Our Mission

Stop Crypto Validation is a citizen-led initiative created to raise awareness about Hungary's crypto validation law. Our mission is to inform Hungarian citizens about this legislation, which threatens financial freedom and digital security by mandating globally unique validation requirements on cryptocurrency transactions.

We believe that financial freedom is a fundamental right, and that maintaining free competition among crypto service providers is essential for protecting the interests of Hungarian crypto owners. The crypto validation law undermines these protections, exposing citizens to new risks and forcing service providers to leave the country.

Our platform provides easy-to-understand information about the crypto validation law, tracks service provider status, and helps citizens contact their representatives to express their concerns.

This website was inspired by the Fight Chat Control project, which fights against the EU Chat Control regulation. We encourage everyone to participate in that initiative as well.
